Before school started... Some of the children played outside. Others finished off Easter cards in classrooms inside. "Dear Ouma. I love you lots and lots. I hope you have a fun Easter..." Some played one of their many games. Some read. Some looked at their Easter baskets and cards. 8 o'clock. Off to singing practice... Strategically planned to keep the children away from the classrooms... unbeknownst to them. Some sat quietly. Others did not. They sang lots of songs... While footprints were appearing. As well as drawings. Easter eggs were being delivered. "Hello Easter Bunny! Please come and visit us all at Bishopslea." Will the Easter Bunny visit? Yes! He has just been spotted! Shock... Excitement... And smiles... The children were allowed to rush out to try and find him too. Footprints were seen. Everywhere was searched - down near the ground... And up in the air. Where is he? Some saw he had brought them eggs. While others continued to search. Paint was going everywhere. "The Easter Bunny touched me!" "Did you see him?" "Yes!" Classrooms were searched. "I saw him!" "He touched me!" "Where is he?" They ran. And they ran... Until everyone's Easter eggs were found. "Did you see me?" (About half of them had!) Perhaps not her. Easter eggs were devoured. Gobble, gobble. Almost gone. Munch, munch. After all that excitement, what did the rest of the day have in store? Much, much more... for don't forget it is April the 1st and the last day of term!
